Privacy Policy Notice for Candidate Partners

Introduction

Affidea is a provider of medical services with high value standards. The terms "Affidea" ("we" or "us" or "our") refer to "AFFIDEA HOLDINGS GREECE SA", headquartered at 122 L. Vouliagmeni Street, 16777, Elliniko, Attica, Greece, and any of its subsidiaries. Please read this personal data privacy notice so that you understand how we will process your personal data for the purposes of Affidea's recruitment procedures.

Lawful processing of your personal data

We are legally bound to process, protect and respect all your personal data. Our recruiters are subject to a duty of confidentiality. Your personal data is stored securely on our recruitment application. We do not transfer your personal data outside the European Economic Area. Your personal data is processed in accordance with Affidea's legitimate interests, which leads us to find the most suitable candidates to fill the company's positions and we process their data during the recruitment process. By applying for a job, you acknowledge and accept that Affidea will process your personal data in accordance with this data privacy notice and will keep it on file for 180 days. The processing of your personal data is necessary for us to assess your suitability to fill the relevant position.

Sources of Personal Data

If you apply following an advertisement published by us, we obtain your personal data either from you or from other data controllers (such as professional database providers or recruiters). Following your application, we may obtain information about you from professional social media and networking sites (such as LinkedIn) and other internet sources. We will only contact your previous or current employer and colleagues if you allow us to do so by providing us with their contact details.

The recruitment process can be initiated by us by contacting you directly. We contact potential job candidates based on publicly available information, information from professional social media platforms (such as LinkedIn) professional database vendors or recommendations/referrals.

Types of personal data we process

If you apply following an advertisement published by us or a recruitment agency acting on our behalf, we process the personal data you use in your CV and during interviews (in particular contact details, education, qualifications and employment history), evidence of suitability for the job and personal data that is publicly available.If we contact your previous or current employer and colleagues, we also process the personal data they share with us.

You will be informed in advance if we wish to carry out any background or criminal checks. If the recruitment process is initiated by us contacting you directly, we only process data that is already publicly available, your name and contact details, and only until you express your interest or lack thereof in the position we are offering. If you indicate your interest, your personal data is processed exactly as if you applied for a job directly. If you indicate that you are not interested in the position or we cannot contact you, your personal data will be deleted immediately.

Purposes for which we process your personal data

We process personal data only for the purposes of the recruitment process. During the recruitment process we will process your personal data to screen and assess your skills and experience.We will organise and conduct interviews, skills checks and obtain references from your previous employers and colleagues. If you are successful and we offer you the job, a new privacy notice will be issued for your period of employment. The new notification will include the relevant information and the lawful basis under which we process your personal data during your employment.

Who we share your personal data with

We share your personal data about the job you applied for (which includes the job and the skills and experience required) with the people who provided us with references for you. In the case of specific job categories, your data will be shared with other members of the Affidea Group during the recruitment process if necessary to assess your suitability for the position. We are at your disposal for further information on this. If you accept our offer of a position, we share your personal data with the relevant tax and social security authorities in order to enable you to work with us.

Your rights regarding the protection of personal data

Under the Personal Data Protection Legislation you have the following rights:

  • Right to request access to your personal data. You have the right to have your data processed.

  • Right to request the rectification of your data. This means that you have the right to have your personal data corrected, or completed if it is inaccurate or incomplete.

  • Right to request the deletion of your data. It means that you have the right to have your personal data deleted in certain circumstances, if there is no legitimate reason for continued processing.

  • Right to object to the processing of your data. This means that in certain circumstances you have the right to challenge the processing of data carried out by Affidea.

  • Right to ask us to restrict processing. This means that you can request that the processing of your personal data be temporarily stopped or removed. Your valid request will mean that we will be able to store your personal data but not process it further.

  • Right to data portability. Allows you to obtain and reuse your personal data for your own purposes across different services. You have the right to move, copy or transfer personal data easily in a secure manner without interfering with its usability.
