Junior IT Engineer

Affidea Greece, a leading provider of Primary Care and Diagnostic Imaging services, is looking for a Junior IT Engineer to join its IT team.

The role focuses on ensuring the smooth operation of IT systems, applications, and infrastructure across our diagnostic centers and headquarters. You will provide hands-on support to users, assist with system maintenance, and participate in projects that improve IT services and digital workflows.

Job responsibilities

• Provide first and second level (L1/L2) technical support to end users (on-site & remote).

• Troubleshoot issues related to hardware, software, networks, and applications.

• Install, configure, and maintain computers, servers, and network equipment.

• Support medical information systems (RIS, PACS, LIS, HIS) and ensure proper communication between systems.

• Collaborate with vendors and external partners for troubleshooting and system upgrades.

• Contribute to IT projects and initiatives for infrastructure improvement and digital transformation.

• Ensure compliance with IT security and data protection policies (GDPR, Business Continuity).

• Up to 2 years of experience in an IT support role

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field

• Good knowledge of operating systems (Windows, Linux) and MS Office 365

• Familiarity with networking technologies (LAN/WAN, VPN, Firewalls)

• Knowledge of Active Directory and Microsoft Exchange administration

• Good command of English (written and spoken)

• Strong communication and teamwork abilities

• Analytical thinking and structured problem-solving skill

• Organizational skills and eagerness for professional growth

Good to Have

• Experience in a healthcare or multi-site environment is an advantage

• Familiarity with IT service desk or ticketing systems is a plus
